ABOUT: I’m selling a copy of Avalon Hill’s classic bookcase board game Dune (AH824) published in 1979. It is complete with all original components and has only been partially punched. It is in ‘Fine’ condition.

This boxed set board game sat in storage for many years before being passed along to me. I’ve always been passingly interested in playing this one, although it’s doubtful I ever will. I am therefore hoping to pass it along to a collector and/or someone who might put it to use.

All components are present and accounted for and are in great shape other than a few small, faint stains here and there that in no way affect legibility or playability. As mentioned, this game sat in storage for many years; it does have a faint musty smell that can likely be easily remedied by airing it out for a while (which I’ve already done a bit).

- 1 box (mild wear but no writing or stickers, no split corners, some small spots in one portion)

- 1 8-page Rules booklet (the top staple is missing)

- 2 full-color map boards depicting the planet Dune (clean, excellent condition)

- 6 player character shields (unused)

- 120 unpunched circular counters representing the armies fighting for Dune

- 60 1/2" square counters used to count spice (these are partially punched)

- 30 2” discs with illustrations of military leaders

- 1 deck of 33 Treachery Cards (unpunched other than 1 that has come loose)

- 1 deck of 21 Spice Cards

- 2 unassembled Battle Wheels (the pins for assembly are included)

- 1 pad of Player Aid Sheets

- 1 Avalon Hills 1979 Parts List booklet and a Customer Response Card
